WMU Foundation
The WMU Foundation exists to further the cause of Christian missions by securing funds to support WMU and its partners.
WMU Foundation's
Mission/Purpose
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therfore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging" (Psalm 46:1-3 NIV).

the Future for Missions
A Partnership Between a State and National WMU
The WMU Foundation exists to further the cause of Christian missions and ensure the financial future of WMU.
Touching Lives . . .
For more than 100 years, dedicated Christian women
have been touching lives and nurturing missions
work through Woman's Missionary Union. What began
as the modest efforts of a small group of women
back in 1888 has since grown to become the largest
Protestant organization for women in the world,
with almost one million members.
From the beginning, WMU's main purpose has been
to educate and involve women, girls, and preschoolers
in the cause of Christian missions. It accomplishes
this purpose through supporting organizations
such as Women on Mission, Acteens, Girls in Action,
and Mission Friends; through magazines, books,
and other materials which tell about the work
of missionaries; and by encouraging spiritual
growth and missions involvement.
Touch Tomorrow Today Endowment Campaign
is a partnership entered into by a state WMU with
national WMU and the WMU Foundation. The purpose
and vision of the Touch Tomorrow Today
Endowment Campaign is to provide individuals,
churches, and associations with the opportunity
to support both their state WMU and national WMU
at the same time, while building long-term financial
stability for both.

How
Touch Tomorrow Today Works:
Individuals, churches, associations and other
related WMU organizations can make outright gifts
to the Touch Tomorrow Today Endowment through
a state WMU or directly to the WMU Foundation.
The WMU Foundation established a State/National
WMU Endowment to receive donations. Individuals
can also utilize planned giving options to make
a gift through their estates.
Once the endowment is established and has reached
a minimum level of $10,000, 5 percent of the corpus
value is distributed annually to the support of
ongoing missions. 2.5 percent is provided to the
state WMU to meet that state's specific needs;
2 percent passes to the national WMU Vision Fund
and .5 percent helps to underwrite the operating
costs of the WMU Foundation. It's that simple.

Why
the Foundation's Work Is So Important
The Woman's Missionary Union Foundation supports
the cause of Christ by assisting Woman's Missionary
Union as well as individuals who faithfully support
WMU. The Foundation's purpose is to facilitate
the making of donations for the advancement of
WMU missions projects and programs.
The Foundation welcomes gifts of all sizes so
that the joy of ultimate stewardship may be shared
by all, whether their means are modest or substantial.
The Foundation was established as a separate 501(c)(3)
nonprofit Corporation. The Foundation is governed
by a self-perpetuating board of Trustees, as well
as WMU's executive director-treasurer and national
president who serve as ex officio trustees. Daily
administration of the trust, investment, and development
efforts of the Foundation is carried on by a full-time
staff.
