Partnership with WMU Foundation Crucial for the Future of Missions Education
We are excited about the future of WMU and remain steadfast in our commitment to engage more believers in missions than ever before. It is through missions education that preschoolers, children, youth, and adults develop missions awareness that leads to a lifestyle of commitment and obedience to the Great Commission. We firmly believe that this is what God has called us to do since our beginning in 1888to challenge Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God.
WMU is integral to missions education for every Christ follower. But, the WMU Foundation is equally critical to the future of missions education.
Since its inception in 1995, the WMU Foundation has steadily become a partner to WMU, one whose prayerful and financial support I have sincerely appreciated. With more than 100 funds and endowments, the WMU Foundation is an excellent vehicle to support missions as well as the mission and ministries of WMU.
How can you be actively involved in the bright future of missions education through WMU?
- Pray for WMU.
- Examine your personal commitment to missions education and involvement.
- Explore your church's level of missions involvement and become a stronger advocate for missions by either beginning or expanding missions education in your church.
- Take a fresh look at what WMU has to offer today, including online curriculum and countless opportunities for hands-on missions involvement.
- Support the mission and ministries of WMU in your giving through opportunities offered by the WMU Foundation. You can visit the Foundation's Making Gifts page to make a gift online, or gifts may be sent to: WMU Foundation, (specify fund or endowment if desired), 100 Missionary Ridge, Birmingham, AL 35242.
